The foundation stone for today's DEICKEN & ENGELS Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG was laid on March 1, 1966, with the founding of the Adolf Deicken Spool Winding Company by the company's founder Adolf Deicken.
In 1973, the first hall was built in Stuhr
In 1976, the capacities were expanded by a second hall. And likewise, the first CNC lathe was already purchased.
In 1980 we were the first company in the region to be able to use a CNC machining center and in 1985 a 3D measuring machine with protocol output was added to the already very future-oriented machinery.
In 1984 the construction of a third hall took place, which was equipped with corresponding machines.
In 2003, the company was renamed with all parts under the name "Deicken & Engels Maschinenfabrik GmbH" with the managing partner Andrew Engels.
In 2007, we bought a land of 3000m² in addition and doubled our land area to 6000m². Our production area is now 2570m². Furthermore, we started to enter the five-axis simultaneous machining.
New construction of another production hall of 800m².
In 2018, we have also acquired a plot of land opposite the current location with an area of 14000m², 800m² office and 2500m² production area. Here we are planning an expansion or restructuring of the company in the near future.
